Plants from the Gro-Moore Garden Center
If you can imagine 15,000 square feet of climate controlled greenhouse space, brimming with annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, vegetable plants, and herbs, then you have a pretty good idea of just how much we love to grow and sell healthy, beautiful plants.
Unlike the big box stores that truck in racks of plants to sell in the parking lot each spring, we grow our own plants right here at the Garden Center in Henrietta and on our farm in nearby Rush, NY. Our knowledgeable staff can explain the needs and care of every variety, and we also provide a Tip Sheet to help you choose the right plant for your home, yard, or garden.
March-April
At Gro-Moore Farms, the plant season starts in Spring with Easter Plants. Check out our beautiful Easter baskets and shelves brimming with assorted spring bulbs, Easter lilies, primrose and more. We have many different sizes and styles to suit all your needs. Choose some as a gifts and treat yourself to something special!
May
For Mother's Day we have many gift ideas along with gift certificates available in any amount so she can pick out just what she wants. We have hundreds of hanging baskets to choose from in many different sizes and flower types to suit your special needs.
We also have dish gardens, window boxes, patio planters and wicker baskets brimming full of flowers ready to take to someone special. Don't have time to plant flowers yourself? We do custom planting in your containers or ours. Come in and let us design something special just for you.
For your Flower Gardens we have all the things you will need. We offer a wide variety of annual bedding plants in an array of colors, sizes, and types suitable for sunny as well as shady areas. We also have perennials, and you can choose from hundreds of different varieties for sunny or shady areas in quart and gallon sizes.
For the Vegetable Garden, we offer individual plants as well as 6-packs, along with all the tools, fertilizers, mulches and sprinklers to keep everything healthy clear up to your bountiful harvest.
Herbists will also be pleased to browse our wide variety of Herbs in individual pots.
September-October
In the fall, come see our radiant mums in more than a dozen dazzling colors. These are full, healthy plants that will look lovely in your home, around the patio, or on your guest table.
You'll also find a full line of fall and Halloween decorative vegetables, plants, and accessories. Pumpkins of all size and colors, a great variety of gourds, corn stalks, Indian corn, hay bales, and much more.
Don't forget to bring the family-and your camera-for the Fall Festival at Gro-Moore Farms.
December
In December, Gro-Moore Farms becomes a Christmas Wonderland-with fresh healthy Christmas trees, Holiday Wreaths, and row after row of brilliant red, pink, or white Poinsettias of every size.
